The Silver Buddy Lure was developed by Paul "Buddy" Banks in the early 1980's. Buddy is known for saying a "Silver Buddy will catch anything that swims!" The Silver Buddy is synonymous with the blade bait and although it has often been imitated, it has never been duplicated.
The Silver Buddy can be yo-yoed, swam at different depths, or bounced along the bottom. They are impossible to fish wrong. The tight action and attractive flash will catch fish any time of year, but they are particularly effective in cold water. Small mouth legend, Billy Westmoreland, was known for saying "the Silver Buddy is the best small mouth bait ever made."
